This song is fun to jump to and do sing call and response in Spanish and English. All the parts that are sung by the kids choir on recording can easily be learned by classroom. This is a good song for a hot day or a cold day to imagine themselves taking a mind escape from the classroom and going to the beach for a couple of minutes! Remember to remind them to wear sunblock! :D
I wrote this song thinking about the Padre Island beach where I spent lots of my time growing up and playing in the waves and sand. I wanted this song to be fun and carefree just like the beach is on a beautiful hot Texas day.
